Technical takeover and stabilization of the relaunch project for hej.de, IKEA’s digital “walk-in home magazine” combining community content, expert advice, panoramic room views, product tagging, and an integrated room planner. After the previous infrastructure colleague had left the project, I took over the technical side and became the main counterpart for project management, vendor coordination, and technical delivery. The platform itself was relaunched by Razorfish for IKEA.

I worked my way into the existing platform.sh delivery and deployment model, took over coordination with the external vendor, and technically steered the Drupal upgrade. In addition, I improved the documentation so that any future handover would be significantly smoother than the one I inherited. My contribution was therefore less about visible product logic and more about technical continuity, delivery support, and a more stable operational foundation.
