I host my website with Hetzner. The provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.
I have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Hetzner. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that Hetzner processes the personal data of my website visitors only according to my instructions and in compliance with the GDPR. The server location is Finland.

This cookie serves solely the purpose of recording that you have acknowledged the banner so that it is not displayed to you again every time you call up the page. Server Log Files

5. Plugins and Tools
Google Fonts (Local Hosting)
This site uses so-called Google Fonts for the uniform display of fonts. These are hosted locally on my server at Hetzner. No connection to Google servers takes place.
Strapi Admin Panel (Mux Player / Google Cast SDK)
We use the Content Management System (CMS) Strapi to manage the content of this website. The protected admin area is only accessible to authorized administrators and editors.
For media management, Strapi integrates the "Mux Player" by default to play videos within the media library. This player includes a function to support Google Cast (Chromecast), which means that when the media library is accessed in the admin area, a connection to Google's servers (gstatic.com) is established to load the "Google Cast SDK" (cast_framework.js). In this process, the IP address of the logged-in administrator is transmitted to Google.
Important: This data transmission exclusively affects authorized users who log into the password-protected admin area. Regular visitors to the public website (marcuspauli.de) are not affected. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical functionality of the CMS backend).
Vimeo
This website uses plugins of the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
If you visit one of my pages equipped with a Vimeo video, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. The Vimeo server is informed which of my pages you have visited. Vimeo also obtains your IP address. I have configured Vimeo in such a way that your user activities are not tracked (using the "Do Not Track" parameter), unless you are logged into a Vimeo account.
